YOUR ROLE
Our Air and Ocean team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer centric UK Operational Key Account Manager based in Gaydon, Stratford upon Avon.
This integral role will see you onsite working closely with this prestigious automotive client where you will lead on operational performance, efficiencies, continuous improvement and customer expectations ensuring success not only for CEVA but the client.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Key Account Management Head, you will oversee operational KPIs and performance, ensuring teams meet and exceed customer requirements in line with contractual agreements where you will coordinate and provide direction for customer service efforts across all operations involved in client interactions to ensure a consistent and high level of customer satisfaction.
Acting as the main point of contact and escalation point for the client and suppliers, you will mitigate risks, investigate root cause and embed remedial solutions to ensure operational success. You will regularly review and update customers monthly rates ensuring the latest version is visible and accessible and quote new traffic lanes adding changes to the monthly rate card to ensure accuracy.
You will assist in the preparation and proposal of RFQs ensuring customer requirements are captured, documented and shared with the centralised account management and tender management teams. You will ensure regular contact with the client and will support with monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews that include operational performance and future forecasting strategies for account development and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you have significant experience in Account Management or Contract Management ideally within a freight forwarding or international transportation environment. You will be practiced in customer management, capable of building exceptional working relationships both internally and externally. You will have a proven track record of organic and new customer growth, experienced in contract development, performance delivery, commercial account management and financial understanding.
It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, influencer and negotiator, with exceptional people and problem-solving skills, practiced developing and delivering operational and client account success.
While not essential, it would be desirable if you have proven experience of managing automotive or freight forwarding accounts, in particular with knowledge of air freight imports and exports.
