YOUR ROLE
Are you eager to expand your knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of Warehousing and Logistics? If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!
In this role, you’ll play a key part in streamlining warehouse operations across departments such as Inbound, Outbound, and Reciting. While learning on the job, you’ll be responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse.
You’ll also have the invaluable chance to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining insight into all aspects of the operation—including warehouse management systems (WMS), company procedures, health and safety protocols, and much more.
This full-time position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 45 hours per week, with shifts running from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The role offers an hourly rate of £12.26. Candidates with MHE licenses are preferred and will receive additional weekly allowances.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Unload vehicles and ensure goods match receiving paperwork/ system.
- Complete goods received paperwork and pass to warehouse clerk for entry into the WMS system.
- Move goods to storage locations including systematic process.
- Pick goods and Marshall in loading area.
- Ensure goods are loaded in line with delivery manifest.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team in an Operator role. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who is self-motivated, communicates effectively, and demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and initiative. Candidates should hold relevant warehouse vocational qualifications and possess valid FLT, Reach Truck, and VNA licenses. Experience with scanning systems is highly desirable, and a minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English is essential.
