For our branch in Zurich, we are looking for International Freight Forwarder (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
YOUR FUTHER ROLL:
- Coordinate the implementation of new ocean freight lanes from Belgium ensuring smooth operational setup and customer satisfaction.
- Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures tailored to specific customer and lane requirements
- Manage first level escalations and deviations, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase, providing updates and proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and contract managers, to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables
- Momitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process improvement
- participate in and support day to day operational tasks as required to ensure seamless execution
THAT'S WHAT WE WANT:
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) flemish is a plus
- Experience in ocean freight logistics, preferably within 3 PL environment
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to perfom under pressure
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and managing SOPs
- Willingness to engage in hands-on operational work as part of daily responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals
