YOUR ROLE
Responsible for documenting and analyzing files associated with movement of Air Freight goods, using entry to more advanced technical and support knowledge on a broad range of Airfreight requirements, and related policies, programs and practices.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Provide a variety of services using entry- to advanced-level technical and administrative knowledge across multiple areas of air freight operations, including files, documentation, invoices, delivery orders, and other related documents.
- Review, complete, and process various types of air freight documentation, maintain databases, generate air operations reports, and provide related services.
- Provide basic to advanced support in interpreting air freight policies, programs, and practices, as well as assistance to employees and management.
- Assist in researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve air freight operational challenges.
- Support the review and implementation of air freight policies, practices, and programs to meet organizational, operational, customer, and management needs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable national laws, rules, and regulations; seek guidance, direction, or escalate matters when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
QUALIFICATIONS:
BAC+2 in Transport and Logistics.
EXPERIENCE:
2 and 3 years in Transit and Logistics
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of customs clearance procedures as well as customs legislation and techniques;
- Thorough understanding of customs law, tax procedures, and international business law;
- Strong organizational and management skills;
- High level of rigor in preparing customs documentation;
- Excellent command of office and IT tools;
- Ability to handle deadline-related stress;
- English
