YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics is looking for an Aerospace Air Freight Coordinator to join our Air team in Hounslow, coordinating specialist movements of high-value aerospace cargo, including oversized and out-of-gauge shipments.
Working closely with the team, you will help plan and deliver complex shipments safely, compliantly and within agreed service levels. This is an opportunity to build your specialist aerospace knowledge, bringing your freight forwarding experience and strong attention to detail to a varied operational role.
This role is fully on site, working Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will coordinate specialist aerospace shipments, working with customers, airlines, road carriers, handling agents, customs brokers and warehouse teams to ensure each movement meets its specific requirements. You will arrange specialist handling and transport, check shipment documentation and maintain accurate operational records in line with agreed procedures.
Supporting pricing and procurement activities, you will obtain and review supplier quotations, checking that proposed services meet shipment requirements and agreed timescales. Careful planning and attention to cargo dimensions, handling instructions and documentation will be essential.
You will monitor shipment progress and critical milestones, proactively identifying delays, resolving operational issues and escalating risks when required. You will provide clear customer updates and support time-critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) movements and charter requirements.
You will also coordinate customs clearance requirements with relevant partners, support operational and performance reporting, and identify opportunities to improve shipment visibility, service quality and efficiency.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will have experience in air freight imports, exports or a similar freight forwarding operations role, with an understanding of shipment documentation, customs processes and transport coordination.
Previous aerospace or out-of-gauge cargo experience would be advantageous, although training on specialist requirements will be provided. We welcome candidates with a strong operational foundation and a willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when checking shipment requirements, quotations and documentation. Organised and proactive, you will be comfortable managing competing priorities, responding to changing requirements and taking ownership of your work. Clear communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach will help you build effective relationships and keep shipments moving.
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts on gym memberships and money off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands. There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment so if you’d like to work for one of the top Logistics providers in the world then please do get in touch to find your next role.
