As a Customer Service Administrator within our Logistics Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and support across our air import and export services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in air freight operations and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a preparatory education and a solid foundation in both basic and advanced air transport operations related to imports and exports. You will be the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external clients, providing comprehensive assistance and handling complex inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication channels with both internal teams and external customers, utilising your advanced technical knowledge and support skills related to air freight policies, procedures, and practices.
- Review, complete, and accurately process various air transport documentation and maintain detailed databases and reports critical to operations and compliance.
- Provide investigative support and formulate well-informed recommendations to resolve product and service-related issues, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Assist in reviewing, updating, and implementing air transport policies and operational practices to align with organisational goals and industry standards.
- Support compliance efforts by adhering to applicable laws, standards, and regulations, escalating issues appropriately when required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Preparatory level education or equivalent.
- Prior experience or knowledge of air freight operations, particularly in import and export processes, customer service delivery, and interactions with transport providers.
- Strong organisational skills to manage and process detailed documentation and operational data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking to support investigation and resolution of operational challenges.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in air freight logistics.
- Proficient in using standard office applications and logistics management software.
