YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Air Exports Operator to join our team, managing air export shipments from start to finish. You will ensure shipments are handled efficiently, meet regulatory requirements and deliver excellent service to our customers.

You will work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with working hours of 11:30–23:30.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You will manage air export shipments from collection through to arrival, arranging collections, booking cargo with airlines and following customer standard operating procedures.

You will prepare and process export documentation, including Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) for business-to-business and consolidation shipments, and complete accurate export customs declarations in line with HMRC requirements.

Keeping customers informed at each milestone, you will work closely with airlines, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and keep shipments on track. You will take ownership of your shipments, ensuring both operational and financial accuracy.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will be a confident air export professional with experience in freight forwarding and a strong understanding of export documentation, customs declarations and airline bookings.

You will be organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment, with excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills. You will also be IT literate, with experience using freight management systems such as CargoWise.

Due to the nature of the role and its security clearance requirements, the successful candidate must have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years.
