Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000
YOUR ROLE
The Facilities Repair & Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient day-to -day facilities operations and delivery of Facilities Management (FM) services across the assigned Area. The FM oversees site functionality, safety, services, project management, planning, and other related activities. This position requires a proactive, diplomatic, and detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills. The FM will be the first POC for the specified Area, fielding queries and escalation from site-based colleagues. This role reports into the Real Estate Organization
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of all building systems and equipment
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliver of services. All to the KPI’s set for the site
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities within the Area to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and non-compliance. Manage the requirements of Facilities Management Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management systems with the Area. Liaise with CSR, H&S, and Quality team, coordinating environmental, H&S, security, wellbeing and quality initiatives with regard to the Area
- Develop and implement on- site Facility Management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards – adhering to global CEVA standards
- Coordinate with other departments to support their facility-related needs and initiatives. Oversight of reactive requests and actioning accordingly within the Area, to include post incident follow-up. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Manage the Area’s facilities budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency (CAPEX & OPEX)
- Ensure asset registers/documentation and internal IWMS (integrated Workplace Management System) is kept up to date. Ensure the maintenance of records and documentation related to facility operations, maintenance, and compliance are kept current
- Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, expansions, relocations, and decommissions
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, maintenance operations, or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of facilities management operations, with demonstrated project management and budgeting experience
- Experience managing maintenance contracts, vendor relationships, and service delivery within established budgets and processes
- Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service while working effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and navigate challenging situations diplomatically
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Facilities Management or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
- 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in facilities or maintenance management
- Background in construction or warehouse operations
