CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Global Data Insight and Innovation Expert to join our Core Transversal Functions within the Project Management team.

This role focuses on identifying, structuring, and delivering artificial intelligence and advanced analytics use cases to transform global contract logistics operations. The position plays a key role in turning operational challenges into actionable insights and scalable data-driven solutions, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.

Role Overview

As a Global Data Insight and Innovation Expert, you will play a central role in driving CEVA’s data and AI transformation across global contract logistics operations.

You will translate business and operational challenges into data and AI use cases, analyse available datasets to generate actionable insights, and support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.

You will act as a project driver, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery, deployment, and adoption of AI-driven solutions aligned with CEVA’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, structure, and prioritise high-impact AI and advanced analytics use cases within logistics and contract logistics operations.
  • Translate business and operational challenges into clear, actionable data and AI project requirements.
  • Analyse complex datasets to generate insights that support continuous improvement in supply chain performance and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to design and deliver AI-driven solutions.
  • Coordinate the delivery of data and AI use cases with external technology partners (e.g. implementation and development teams).
  • Support the evaluation of solution feasibility, expected benefits, and business value to guide prioritisation.
  • Monitor emerging trends in AI, data analytics, and logistics innovation to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business cases, dashboards, and executive-level insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, consistency, and responsible usage.
  • Promote adoption and change management to ensure successful integration of new data and AI capabilities across business units.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a data-driven professional with strong experience in applying analytics and artificial intelligence to solve business problems, ideally within logistics, supply chain, consulting, or complex operational environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to challenge and translate operational needs into data-driven insights and initiatives. This is not a pure technical development role, but requires sufficient data literacy to understand, analyse, and challenge AI and analytics solutions

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation projects within logistics, supply chain, consulting, or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics concepts and tools (e.g. SQL, Python for analysis).
  • Experience in project management or product ownership in cross-functional and international environments.
  • Good understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance principles.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong ability to structure ambiguous business problems into actionable data and AI use cases.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to challenge business needs and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in international environments.
  • Curiosity and strong interest in AI, data innovation, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to drive change and promote adoption of new solutions and ways of working.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
