Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Project Management Senior Expert to lead large-scale, complex projects across our logistics operations in air and ocean freight. You will engage with cross-functional, multicultural teams and stakeholders worldwide, applying your leadership and communication skills to drive project success and continuous improvement in a dynamic and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closing, for critical global logistics initiatives within the air and ocean domains.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets while managing constraints and resources effectively to maximise outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, operational teams, supply chain partners, and external vendors to ensure cohesive project execution aligned with strategic goals.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans, incorporating risk management strategies and quality assurance measures to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Promote and enforce adherence to global project management standards, corporate governance policies, and regulatory compliance across all managed projects.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices by analysing project performance data, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and integrating innovative tools and methodologies.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for project managers and team members, cultivating a collaborative culture and enhancing overall project execution capabilities within the organisation.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and executive summaries to inform decision-makers and support data-driven strategic planning.
  • Champion cross-cultural awareness and promote inclusivity within all project interactions, ensuring that diverse perspectives contribute to project success.
  • Stay informed of global logistics trends and emerging project management technologies to continuously enhance CEVA's project delivery effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings extensive global project management experience, ideally within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors. You demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural contexts. Your leadership style is inclusive and collaborative, and you excel at influencing stakeholders without direct authority. Experience working with international teams and managing projects on a global scale is essential, as is a strong proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven expertise in leading large, complex projects across multiple countries or regions, preferably within the logistics or freight sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of recognised project management frameworks, including PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with air and ocean logistics operations to contextualise project requirements and industry challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
