Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead the warehouse team by providing comprehensive supervision, including training and ongoing performance evaluation, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of operations, inventory cycles, and performance metrics; interpret data to identify trends and operational opportunities, prepare insightful reports, and present actionable recommendations to management.
  • Support investigative efforts addressing operational or safety issues by recommending practical, effective solutions to enhance workplace conditions and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and managing project objectives for warehouse operations and storage programs, including budgeting, scheduling, materials management, staffing, and other project requirements.
  • Oversee inventory control through cyclic counting programs to maintain accuracy and accountability throughout the storage facilities.
  • Manage the label printing and control process to ensure product compliance prior to shipment, guaranteeing quality and traceability.
  • Interpret and enforce departmental policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards, seeking guidance as needed to maintain operational integrity.
  • Monitor productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs) both internally and externally, implementing strategies to continuously improve operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute root cause analysis action plans to address and improve upon identified operational challenges.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage resources, guaranteeing the operational area is equipped with the necessary personnel, tools, and equipment to perform tasks successfully.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations supervision or a related logistics management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working with data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Proficient understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse control methodologies.
  • Fluency in interpreting policies, regulations, and safety standards within a warehouse or logistics context.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Spanish and English language skills are advantageous given the working environment.
