Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify billing data meticulously to guarantee accuracy; this includes auditing assigned claims daily to prevent errors and discrepancies.
2. Generate invoices and ensure their timely and accurate delivery to customers, fostering transparent and reliable customer billing experiences.
3. Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly, coordinating closely with internal teams and external clients to address concerns and correct issues.
4. Serve as the primary contact point for customers regarding billing inquiries, providing clear, professional, and efficient communication to enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Assist with month-end closing activities to support accurate financial reporting and operational continuity.
6. Collaborate effectively with multiple departments, including finance, customer service, and operations, to uphold billing accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
7. Ensure adherence to company policies as well as relevant state and federal regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance throughout all billing operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience working with billing systems, preferably in transportation or logistics sectors, ensuring precise rating and billing management.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills to scrutinize data and detect inconsistencies or errors before invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally and effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, particularly during month-end financial closings.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks applicable to billing and financial processes.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used for billing, auditing, and reporting.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning within the billing and operational context.
