Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced knowledge of international and domestic transportation services, including ocean, air, and ground freight operations.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing domestic ground transportation solutions, including FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less-than-Truckload), and intermodal services.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the logistics industry, preferably within freight forwarding, international transportation, or supply chain.
- Proven experience in pricing, including quotation preparation, rate analysis, cost modeling, and supplier negotiation.
Technical Knowledge
- Equipment and regulatory expertise: Comprehensive understanding of U.S. domestic equipment types, including 53' dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and applicable legal weight and transportation regulations.
- Strong understanding of customer ground transportation contracts, tariffs, and service requirements.
- Solid understanding of the logistics market, including major trade lanes, carriers, transit times, and basic transportation regulations.
- Experience participating in RFQ/RFP processes, including pricing strategy development and proposal preparation.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, freight forwarding operations, and international shipping documentation.
- Experience working under Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supporting high-volume sales organizations with timely responses and prioritization.
Communication & Customer Focus
- Advanced English proficiency (required), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience collaborating with Sales teams and stakeholders in the United States, demonstrating responsiveness, professionalism, and strong customer service orientation.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Systems & Tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pricing models, and reporting.
- Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar).
- Experience with freight forwarding, pricing, or transportation management systems (TMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).
