YOUR ROLE

 

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for quality, precision, and high standard vehicle repair? We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Technical Services team based at our Head Office in Chipping Warden. Working as part of a small, close knit team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of cars and vans in line with strict manufacturer guidelines and client expectations.

 

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a hands on workshop environment, and is committed to delivering the highest standards every day.

 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

 

In this role, you will be carrying out PDIs, vehicle repairs and basic mechanical work including servicing, brakes and tyre fitment across a variety of vehicles. You will manage your own jobs through the AssetCare system, ensuring labour and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently. Identifying and reporting defects, request parts correctly, interpret technical data and manufacturer information, and carry out rectification work to approved specifications. You will also maintain high housekeeping and safety standards, work closely with Garage Support and fellow Technicians to maintain productivity, and ensure all tools and equipment are kept clean, safe and serviceable.
 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

 

We are  looking for an experienced, quality driven technician with City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies (or equivalent). You will have a strong eye for detail, a focus on quality standards, and the ability to interpret technical service information effectively. Be a team player who can also work independently to high standards, with good diagnostic and problem solving skills. Manufacturer training, including EV and Hybrid experience, is desirable, along with a willingness to continue professional development.
