OUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to manage and develop a key automotive customer account within the Industrial team, part of our Finished Vehicle Logistics business.
Covering port operations, vehicle preparation and distribution, you will connect customer requirements with the teams responsible for moving vehicles through our network. This role combines customer relationship management, operational coordination and commercial accountability, supporting service delivery and account growth.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across logistics, fleet and procurement, developing a detailed understanding of their priorities, vehicle volumes and service requirements. Working with our port, technical services and distribution teams, you will coordinate activity from vehicle arrival and container unloading through to pre-delivery inspection, preparation and onward delivery.
As customer requirements evolve, you will review forecasts with operational teams to understand capacity, identify potential constraints and agree achievable plans. You will communicate clear priorities, manage expectations and ensure commitments are followed through across multiple sites and departments.
You will lead customer meetings and performance reviews, monitoring delivery against contractual KPIs and service level agreements. Taking ownership of escalations, you will bring the right stakeholders together to resolve issues, keep customers informed and identify improvements that strengthen service performance.
Working closely with Finance and commercial colleagues, you will ensure services provided are accurately recorded and invoiced, investigate discrepancies and support timely payment. You will also identify opportunities to develop the account, balancing customer ambitions with operational capability and commercial objectives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will have experience managing complex customer accounts or coordinating service delivery within finished vehicle logistics, automotive operations or a comparable logistics environment. An understanding of port operations, vehicle preparation or distribution would be advantageous.
You will be confident building relationships with stakeholders at different levels, including customer procurement teams, operational managers and senior leaders. You will be comfortable managing expectations, challenging requirements constructively and negotiating practical outcomes.
Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, maintain clear action plans and keep track of competing priorities. You will be comfortable interpreting operational and financial information, reviewing performance and maintaining commercial oversight.
Strong Excel, reporting and presentation skills are also essential.
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance, along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts and money-off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands.
There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment, so if you’d like to work for one of the top logistics providers in the world, please get in touch to find your next role.
