QHSE Head - Thailand & Emerging Markets

YOUR ROLE? 

Scope of countries are Thailand and Emerging Markets. The incumbent will be responsible and coordinate the activities required to meet the QHSE standard set for the services. We should ensure that this quality is consistent and meets both External & Internal requirements. This role is concerned with monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standard.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  1. Ensure the Safety proactive and reactive parameters arrangement
  2. Ensure Core SOP/WI are in place in accordance with the IMS.
  3. Conduct periodic audit at every site under the scope to ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Management Systems and to the requirements of relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO13485, ISO 45001 & GDP), regulatory authorities & customers and implement corrective / preventive actions as necessary.
  4. Qualify and manage suppliers as per global and local procedures.
  5. Performing 3rd party Supplier Audits pertaining to Crucial operations like DG, Pharma or Medical Equipment
  6. Maintain all Quality documentation, procedures, forms, risk assessment. Act as the Central Document controller and review all documents at intervals.
  7. Organize & conduct management review meeting with Head of Department / Function and share Minutes of Meeting with interested parties.
  8. Handle reports, government & external audits, inspections, license & organize external ISO Audits.
  9. Follow up on latest statutory regulations and compliance for Quality, Safety, Health and Environment.
  10. Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to ensure that work activities are carried out in safe manner.
  11. Handle customer complaints and process non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis to identify effective correction and process improvement. This includes conducting investigations and submission to customer for review in a timely manner and follow up on the corrective and preventive action effectiveness check to ensure no repeated occurrence and leverage the actions to other process area as continuous improvement.
  12. Conduct Training to increase the awareness for QHSE/IMS/Risk Assessment & Aspect/Pharma & DG. GHO SOP/WI/Forms which is launched by GHO.
  13. Ensure of the Implementation SOP/WI/Forms which is launched by GHO in every relevant site/location.
  14. Prepare for all new arrival validation for all BU (Air or Ocean or FVL or CL), such as: Support BD, SD for bidding process. Or Support QHSE Area for Project Implementation – Change Management.
  15. Oversee QHSE function in countries supported by Thailand QHSE, including Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in Quality Management ideally with the logistics industry in similar capacity in Contract Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Transportation or Supply chain.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 13485 & GDP standards, preferably qualified Lead / Internal auditor.
  • Familiar with local legal requirements and industry-specific requirements.
  • Good knowledge in DG if DG-License would be advantageous
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
