Job Title:
Senior Project Manager – (Contract Logistics – Manhattan Deployment)
Location:
Remote with up to 40–60% travel across U.S. warehouse operations
ABOUT CEVA LOGISTICS
CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions to connect people, products, and providers worldwide. We are supply chain experts, and our team of approximately 98,000 employees across more than 1,000 facilities in 160 countries makes us one of the largest logistics companies in the world. Through our commitment to excellence, we offer end-to-end, customized solutions in both Contract Logistics and Freight Management.
As CEVA continues to grow and modernize our Contract Logistics operations, we are executing a multi-year deployment of the Manhattan Associates IT stack—including Manhattan Active WMS and OMS—across 50+ CEVA-operated warehouse sites in the United States. This transformation will drive standardization, scalability, improved customer integration, and operational performance across our 3PL network.
To support this strategic initiative, CEVA is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead site-level execution and ensure successful deployment of Manhattan Active systems across our warehouse operations.
YOUR ROLE
As the Senior Project Manager – Manhattan Active WMS/OMS Deployment, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end implementation delivery for assigned warehouse sites as part of CEVA’s nationwide Manhattan deployment program. You will lead project planning, execution governance, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and go-live readiness activities to ensure each deployment is delivered on time, within scope, and with high operational adoption.
This role requires strong project management discipline, deep understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to coordinate across IT, operations, customer stakeholders, and Manhattan implementation teams. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the central driver of site execution, ensuring all functional workstreams (integration, configuration, training, testing, cutover, and hypercare) are aligned and accountable.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Site Deployment Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end project execution for Manhattan Active WMS and OMS deployments at CEVA warehouse operations sites.
- Develop detailed project plans including milestones, dependencies, workstream activities, resource plans, and deployment readiness requirements.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with program governance standards and the broader Manhattan deployment roadmap.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution Management
- Coordinate execution across key workstreams including Operations, IT, Business Process Engineering, Testing, Training, Data Migration, and Integration teams.
- Facilitate daily and weekly project execution meetings, ensuring clear ownership of actions, deliverables, and issue resolution.
- Partner with site General Managers and operational leadership to drive engagement, accountability, and readiness activities.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders supporting the deployment.
- Coordinate with customer IT and operations teams to align integration timelines, testing expectations, and cutover requirements.
- Maintain strong communication and transparency through regular status reporting, steering updates, and escalation management.
Schedule, Risk, and Issue Management
- Manage project timelines and ensure execution remains on track by identifying risks early and driving mitigation plans.
- Own project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
- Proactively manage scope control and coordinate change requests through established governance processes.
Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live Readiness
- Coordinate all testing activities at the site level including SIT participation, UAT readiness, and operational validation.
- Ensure site teams are prepared for UAT execution, training completion, and readiness sign-offs.
- Lead cutover planning and execution, ensuring detailed runbooks are developed and approved across stakeholders.
- Drive go-live readiness reviews and ensure all entry/exit criteria are met prior to deployment approval.
Hypercare and Stabilization Support
- Lead post-go-live hypercare execution, ensuring defects and operational disruptions are tracked, prioritized, and resolved quickly.
- Coordinate stabilization activities across Manhattan teams, IT support, operations leadership, and super users.
- Ensure successful transition to steady-state support and handoff to operational and IT sustainment teams.
Continuous Improvement and Deployment Standardization
- Capture lessons learned from each site deployment and partner with program leadership to improve playbooks, templates, and execution models.
- Drive repeatable, scalable deployment practices that reduce cycle time and improve quality across future deployment waves.
- Support program-level standardization efforts to strengthen operational adoption and long-term system performance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
- 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex supply chain, warehouse, or enterprise IT implementations.
- Proven experience leading WMS and/or OMS deployments in a distribution, e-commerce, retail, or contract logistics environment.
- Strong preference for experience with Manhattan Associates solutions (Manhattan Active WMS and OMS highly preferred).
- Experience managing multi-site rollouts or large-scale deployment programs is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a 3PL environment and supporting customer-specific integrations and operational requirements is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and returns.
- Strong project planning and execution governance skills, including schedule management, dependency tracking, and milestone delivery.
- Familiarity with systems integration concepts including API, EDI, middleware, and customer connectivity requirements.
- Experience coordinating testing activities including SIT and UAT execution in partnership with business and IT teams.
- Strong proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across technical and operational stakeholders.
Leadership & Problem-Solving
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Highly structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate risks and drive mitigation before issues impact deployment timelines.
- Confident communicator able to present status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments during go-live and cutover periods.
- Collaborative mindset with strong ability to influence, align, and motivate teams across multiple functional groups.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive compensation and annual performance incentives
- Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- 401(k) with company match
- Generous paid time off and company holidays
