For our location in Bremen, we are looking for a Operation Project Logistics Professional (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date.
 
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Independently manage shipments, including the coordination of import and export processes, transportation arrangements, quotation preparation, and billing support.
  • Ocean, Air, Road and Rail, on-/off-board deliveries, as well as warehousing
  • Handle the complete order process from receipt through invoicing, including claims management and damage processing.
  • Conduct commercial rate and contract negotiations with service providers and suppliers.
  • Review, verify, and approve invoices, as well as manage dunning and collection processes.
  • Prepare and support monthly file and operational closings.
  • Act as the responsible person for dangerous goods compliance.
  • Provide customer support and conduct joint customer visits together with the Business Development team.

 

 

Your Profile:

 

Functional, Market & Industry Knowledge

Operational expertise in the following areas:

 

  • Export, Import, and Cross Trades
  • Air Freight and Ocean Freight (LCL/FCL/OOG/Conventional/RoRo)
  • Marine supply Expertise
  • Road Transportation
  • Cargo Handling and Transshipment
  • Special Transport Solutions in the above-mentioned areas
  • Project Logistics
  • Local market knowledge, including customers, competitors, suppliers, and the overall business environment

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Valid German Security Clearance for Aviation (ZÜP) and completed Air Cargo Security Training.
  • Strong customer and service orientation combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team player with flexibility, commitment, initiative, and strong self-management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and willingness to travel.
