Operations Coordinator Event Logistics (m/w/d)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and decisive International Operations Coordinator to join our DE Event Logistics Team. This role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless import and export of goods via airfreight and ocean freight. You will be responsible for coordinating all logistics, from planning to the final delivery, with a keen understanding that the last 100 meters are the most critical in any shipment.

This is a full-time position based in Bremen, with the flexibility to work remotely part-time. You will also be required to work on-site at various locations (e.g., Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munich) and must be willing to travel occasionally. Due to the nature of event logistics, you may need to work some weekends and late evenings to ensure flawless execution.

You will be provided with a company mobile phone, laptop and will join one of the most fast-paced, exciting industries in the world: Event Logistics.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all import and export shipments via airfreight and ocean freight.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Manage logistics for events, including last-mile delivery and on-site coordination.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and make decisive, real-time decisions to resolve operational challenges.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director to align on strategic and tactical goals.
  • Travel to event sites as required to supervise logistics and ensure smooth execution.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in airfreight and ocean freight logistics, with a strong understanding of import/export/customs processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekends and late evenings.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages (e.g. Spanish, Dutch) are a plus.
