Freight Forwarder Brucargo

For our Air Freight team in Brussels (Brucargo), we are looking for a motivated Freight Forwarder Air to join our specialized radiopharmaceuticals team.  In this role, you will coordinate international shipments from start to finish and help ensure the safe and timely transport of healthcare products that truly make a difference in people’s lives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you manage end-to-end air freight shipments and ensure high-quality service delivery towards our customers. You are comfortable handling operational execution, customer communication and administrative follow-up, and you can easily adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic logistics environment.

• Manage end-to-end air freight shipments (import & export) from order intake to final delivery
• Validate customer orders, quotations and SOPs and register shipments accurately in the TMS
• Plan, book and optimise transport execution considering routing, cost, transit time and operational constraints
• Coordinate with airlines, carriers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare, check and manage all required transport documentation (AWB, commercial documents, etc.)
• Proactively monitor shipments, identify deviations and take corrective actions
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding shipment updates and issues
• Ensure correct cost postings, internal invoicing and external customer invoicing
• Maintain complete and accurate shipment files and reporting in the TMS
• Perform final checks on all documentation and ensure compliance with procedures
• Contribute to operational improvements, supplier performance and team collaboration

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are a hands-on and proactive logistics professional who enjoys working in an international and operational environment. You combine accuracy with a customer-focused mindset and know how to keep overview in a fast-moving context.

• First relevant experience in Air Freight Forwarding or a bachelor in logistics.
• Good knowledge of transport flows and documentation within Air Freight
• Fluent in French and English – Dutch is a plus
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Stress-resistant and solution-oriented mindset
• Accurate, well-organised and quality-driven
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
• Team player with a hands-on mentality
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with TMS systems (e.g. CargoWise)
