Pricing and Quoting Administrator

YOUR ROLE:
Produce rates for the air freight department within the required deadlines and to the satisfaction of clients and the company. Act as a liaison between the clients, agents and sales executives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
- Verify different transport possibilities with airline and transport companies and negotiate best possible rates for clients.
- Understand customer needs and bring innovative solutions.
- Recommend insurance.
- Produce rates in the operational system according to the needs of the clients and within the time limits.
- Follow up on rates.
- Act as the resource person for the ceva Group network, suppliers and customer service department (both internal and external).
- Work closely with the sales team, and the other departments of CEVA Canada.
- Issue non-conformity notices and customer complaints in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Other tasks as defined by the immediate supervisor.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
A diploma in professional studies or academic equivalent, and experience in air freight is required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel. Must be able to communicate well and clearly in English both written and oral. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills; must be a team player; must have good organizational and time management skills; must be attentive to detail; must have a sense of urgency; must be customer service-oriented.
