Job Role Summary
The Sales professional is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities, assessing market strategies and deal viability, and recommending equity investments where appropriate. This role plays a key part in driving business growth, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless integration of contract requirements with business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Assessment & Business Development:
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential outcomes, and financial viability; evaluate options, balance internal priorities, and recommend equitable investment opportunities. - Contract Negotiation & Closure:
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contract terms, and ensuring alignment with operational capabilities. - Strategic Sales Implementation:
Innovate, advocate, and implement effective sales strategies across all stages of the sales process, including planning, execution, monitoring, and performance measurement within the assigned territory. - Opportunity Generation:
Generate new sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets and proactively engaging prospective clients. - Customer Relationship Management:
Deliver a high level of professional customer service to both new and existing customers; implement initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and retention. - Ethics & Confidentiality:
Protect the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and upholding high ethical standards in all business dealings. - Financial & Budgetary Control:
Analyze and control divisional expenditures to ensure conformance with budgetary requirements. - Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and submit monthly sales reports detailing performance, opportunities, challenges, and key insights. - Support to Regional Head:
Assist the Regional Sales Head in preparing the annual sales budget for management approval, and support implementation and monitoring of budgeted targets. - Organizational Contribution:
Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing tasks beyond standard expectations and by exploring opportunities to add value across functions.
