Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Excellence Professional NORTAM to join the Air Operations department within the CEVA A&O Mexico legal entity. Based in Mexico City, Alcaldia Benito Juarez, you will serve as a pivotal contributor to the Air division, specialising as an Auto-Rating Validator Specialist. This role is essential for ensuring operational accuracy, validating auto-rating processes, and driving efficiency improvements within air freight operations across the North American region.
About the Role:
As a Business Process Excellence Professional, you will be responsible for validating and auditing the auto-rating mechanisms used in airfreight billing and operational processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including air operations, finance, and IT to ensure data integrity, compliance with contractual terms, and optimisation of rating procedures. Your expertise will support enhanced customer satisfaction and cost-effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and audit auto-rating systems for airfreight shipments, ensuring accuracy and consistency with contractual agreements and industry standards.
- Analyse process workflows to identify inefficiencies, potential risks, and areas for improvement within air operations and rating methodologies.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to troubleshoot rating discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, process guidelines, and training materials related to auto-rating validation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining rating procedures and enhancing operational excellence.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and adapt processes to align with changing legal requirements and commercial policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management, supporting data-driven decision making.
- Champion a culture of quality, accuracy, and collaboration across the air operations team and wider business units.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or air cargo operations, preferably with exposure to auto-rating systems or billing validation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify process optimisation opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and enterprise systems used in airfreight operations and rating management.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
