Position Summary

As a Carbon Footprint & Environmental Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Nortam Sustainability and Business Development teams by delivering robust CO₂ calculations and environmental insights. You will help our customers understand the carbon footprint of their logistics activities and design optimized or alternative transport scenarios.

You will also contribute to the evaluation of CEVA’s environmental impact and support continuous improvement of our data, methodologies, and internal processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, comfortable with data, and eager to challenge and enhance existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

CO₂ Dashboard Development & Analysis

- Build and deliver CO₂ dashboards to present the carbon footprint of customers across different transport modes (road, sea, air).

- Interpret results, identify data quality gaps, and propose improvements.

- Enhance calculation tools, support automation efforts, and recommend process optimizations.

- Respond to customized client requests and participate in tenders requiring detailed carbon analyses.

- Run simulations comparing alternative transport routes, carriers, and fuels/energy sources.

Environmental Data Collection & Insights

- Support quarterly environmental reporting through data collection, cleaning, and consolidation.

- Analyze environmental data, identify trends, and explain variances.

- Create dashboards and visualizations for management and site leaders.

- Develop client-facing dashboards detailing the carbon footprint of their logistics activities.

Additional Opportunities

- Collaborate with the CSR Manager on awareness activities, CSR project management, and research on alternative fuels or transport technologies.

- Propose innovative ideas to reduce environmental impact and support CEVA’s sustainability roadmap.

Qualifications: Education & Experience

- 1–2 years of relevant experience or internship.

- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Advanced Excel skills; basic knowledge of Python or VBA is a plus.

- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with complex datasets.

- Demonstrated interest in climate change and sustainability topics.

- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.

- Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

- Strong written and spoken English.

- Knowledge of the transport/logistics sector is an advantage.
