Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Global IT DevOps and Service Architecture Professional to join our Application Shared Capabilities team within CEVA Servicios de Mexico, based in Mexico City. This role is designed for professionals eager to develop their skills in IT support, application management, and DevOps methodologies, providing critical IT services that power business operations worldwide.
As part of our Support department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance and continuous improvement of enterprise IT applications and integrations. You will collaborate closely with business users, internal IT teams and external partners to deliver efficient, compliant and innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive application production support through proactive system monitoring, timely incident troubleshooting and effective resolution of service requests in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and support day-to-day Run & Maintain (R&M) activities for multiple business and technical applications, ensuring uninterrupted business processes.
- Apply established IT methodologies, tools, and CEVA best practices to perform root cause analysis, problem management and continuous service improvement.
- Assist with project-related tasks including application enhancements, configuration updates, deployments and system tuning, contributing to smooth change management processes.
- Support EDI and B2B integrations by monitoring data flows, addressing transmission and mapping issues, and ensuring compliance with industry protocols such as X12 and EDIFACT.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of applications, interfaces, operational procedures and changes, facilitating knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and promoting a shared understanding of system status and improvements.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and flexible scheduling to support applications deployed across different time zones and regions.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, security and regulatory requirements, contributing to internal and external audits as necessary.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues according to established support protocols to maintain service continuity and quality.
Educational and Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in application support, production support, or DevOps roles.
- Experience in supporting global or international customers will be considered advantageous.
- Exposure to project delivery and implementation environments is desirable and will strengthen your ability to manage change and enhancements effectively.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Solid foundational knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and business-to-business (B2B) / Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as X12 and/or EDIFACT and experience working with XML, SaaS platforms and enterprise messaging systems (EMS).
- Basic Unix/Linux operational knowledge complemented by scripting skills to assist in automation and system operation tasks.
- Proficient in SQL with experience working with database systems such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of business communication protocols including AS2, FTPS/SFTP, and OFTP or similar technologies to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.

- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn continuously and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while managing assigned responsibilities efficiently.
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, to support communication with international teams and customers.
