YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Support Analyst (Junior/Professional) who is eager to learn, analytical, and service oriented. In this role, you will support and maintain IT applications and solutions that enable critical business operations. You will work closely with business users and IT teams to ensure system stability, resolve incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers exposure to enterprise systems, global operations, and structured IT service management practices, making it ideal for professionals looking to grow their career in IT support and application management.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Provide application production support by monitoring systems, troubleshooting incidents, and resolving service requests according to defined SLAs.
- Support day-to-day Run & Maintain (R&M) activities for one or more business or technical applications.
- Apply standard IT methods, tools, and CEVA best practices to analyze issues and determine root causes.
- Ensure continuity of business processes supported by assigned applications and services.
- Work with business users and internal IT teams to understand requirements, diagnose issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Assist in project and change-related activities, including application enhancements, configuration updates, and deployments.
- Participate in testing, installation, tuning, and documentation of application changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for applications, interfaces, and operational procedures.
- Support EDI and B2B integrations, including monitoring data flows and resolving transmission or mapping issues.
- Follow compliance, security, and regulatory requirements; participate in internal and external audits when required.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and accommodate flexible schedules to support globally deployed applications.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues following established support processes.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of IT experience, preferably in application or production support roles.
- Experience supporting global or international customers is a plus.
- Exposure to implementation or delivery projects is desirable but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and B2B / EDI processes.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as X12 and/or EDIFACT.
- Understanding of technologies such as XML, SaaS platforms, and EMS.
- Basic Unix/Linux knowledge and scripting fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).
- Experience with business communication protocols such as AS2, FTPS/SFTP, OFTP, or similar.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix, and global environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
