Responsible for facilitating and streamlining the import and export processes of goods between territories with commercial relations regulated by customs, regulations and restrictions.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional and global legal regulations in terms of import-export process and customs processes.
- Identify potential customs problems and propose solutions.
- Ensure management of complaints about the customs clearance process.
- Identify performance deviations based on key indicators and develop action plans to correct them.
- Support in the management and development of the service provider to achieve maximum expectations of the required operation.
- Identify areas for improvement in the customs process.
- Ensure compliance with maintaining the foreign trade file in accordance with legal regulations.
- Coordinate and ensure the timely and proper clearance of brands before customs (all regimes).
- Contribute and comply with actions to ensure the achievement of the objectives set in metrics determined by those responsible for the area.
- Ensure compliance with records in inventory control systems, as well as their input, output and management of necessary information in a timely manner.
- Comply with the times determined in the management of customs documents regarding requests.
- Comply with the development and training plan for customs legislation as well as ensure its implementation and application.
- Be assertive in the management of urgent shipments.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or similar.
- 2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, customs, imports and exports
- Intermediate English, preferably advanced
- Self-directed with a focus on results
