We are excited to invite applications for the role of Logistics Operations Administrator NORTAM within CEVA  Mexico’s Air and Ocean Transverse division. This position is based in  Mexico City, and plays a pivotal role in the seamless coordination and administration of logistics operations across the North America region.

As a key team member, you will manage and optimise daily logistics workflows focusing on air and ocean freight processes. You will be essential in maintaining operational accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting data-driven decision-making through comprehensive monitoring and reporting of performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily logistics activities, including shipment tracking, scheduling, and comprehensive management of shipping documentation to ensure smooth air and ocean freight operations.
  • Closely monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to flow and operational efficiency. Analyse trends and generate detailed reports that provide actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with customer service, warehouse, transportation, and compliance teams to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, optimising overall process efficiency.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and international trade regulations, including customs and export-import compliance, strengthening our commitment to operational integrity.
  • Update and manage logistics databases accurately, ensuring data integrity and readiness for internal audits and external operational reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting practical solutions to enhance throughput and performance.
  • Contribute to the training and onboarding of new team members, sharing knowledge of logistics procedures, systems, and best practices.
  • Maintain proactive and clear communication channels with internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely and transparent information flow across the supply chain.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in logistics operations, preferably with a focus on air freight environments or multi-modal transport.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to monitor, interpret, and report on operational metrics effectively.
  • Fluent communication skills in both English and Spanish, including professional writing and verbal interaction, enabling smooth collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in logistics management software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyse data and generate detailed operational reports.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in documentation and data handling.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in collaborative, team-oriented settings, contributing positively to company culture.
