Job Purpose
Create and lead a high-performing Billing team that consistently delivers excellence through accuracy, speed, collaboration, and ownership. The Team Leader drives operational results while developing people, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation that enables the organization to exceed customer expectations and achieve sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support Executives in the daily execution of Billing, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and delivery.
Monitor operational KPIs, productivity and SLA compliance, implementing corrective actions to maintain service excellence.
Coordinate with local station, overseas agents and trucking providers (vendors) to ensure smooth billing execution.
Manage operational escalations, urgent billings, delays and service failures, ensuring timely resolution and customer communication.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs.
Distribute workload, manage team priorities, and optimize operational resources to ensure efficiency and business continuity.
Coach, mentor, and develop Executives through training, performance feedback, and operational support to strengthen team capabilities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, increasing operational efficiency, and promoting best practices within the Billing team.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in: International Business, International Trade, Business Administration, Transportation or related field
2. Strong understanding of Billing and international logistics processes.
3. English skills
· Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
· Ability to lead operational discussions, manage suppliers and customer escalations, and communicate effectively with global stakeholders in English.
· Strong business writing skills for operational reporting and customer communication.
· Ability to participate actively in meetings, conference calls, and operational reviews in English.
· Strong understanding of freight forwarding terminology and operational communication in English.
Experience
1. 3 to 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Air/Ocean Operations.
2. Strong experience managing Billing end-to-end processes.
3. Experience supervising or mentoring operational staff or Executives.
4. Experience handling urgent shipments, and billing escalations.
5. Experience working in KPI-driven and fast-paced logistics environments.
6. Experience coordinating with overseas agents and transportation providers.
