Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and provide quotations for international transportation services (air, ocean LCL/FCL, ground, and multimodal), considering current rates, surcharges (BAF, CAF, PSS, GRI), and market conditions.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, including ocean and air carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, insurance providers, and customs brokers.
- Negotiate and update rates and contracts with both existing and new suppliers.
- Coordinate, manage, and onboard new and reactivated vendors in Link Partners.
- Maintain and update rate information in internal systems (pricing tools, TMS).
- Analyze pricing competitiveness against market benchmarks and propose strategic adjustments; monitor market trends such as spot rates, capacity, congestion, and fuel surcharges.
- Prepare and present clear, comprehensive, and professionally structured proposals.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure ongoing awareness and understanding of pricing.
- Review quotation requests, prioritize them based on urgency or service type, and monitor pricing KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored product solutions for clients.
- Lead meetings with suppliers and business partners.
- Follow up on commercial opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or specialization in Pricing or Revenue Management is a plus.
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in logistics and/or transportation.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of pricing, procurement, and rate analysis.
- Advanced negotiation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, modeling preferred).
Language
- Advanced English proficiency.
