CEVA A&O Mexico is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Administrator to join our Business Development Division based in Mexico-Alcaldia Benito Juarez. This role focuses on enhancing the effectiveness of our Business Development activities by delivering precise and competitive quotations, facilitating seamless coordination between intercompany teams, and ensuring smooth operational follow-up to support our commercial objectives.

Role Overview

As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play an integral role in enabling the sales team to convert opportunities effectively by providing detailed assistance in pricing and quotation processes. You will engage with multiple teams both locally and internationally, ensuring alignment and accuracy in rate structures and service offerings. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in international logistics, contributing directly to our business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and competitive quotations to support the Business Development teams.
  • Analyse and interpret freight rates and local charges, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of cost components across intercompany offices.
  • Coordinate with origin and destination teams to verify pricing consistency and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update data within CRM systems and logistics platforms such as One View or their equivalents, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Assist in streamlining quotation workflows, aiming to reduce turnaround times and enhance process efficiency.
  • Support sales teams by responding promptly to pricing enquiries and following up on pending requests.
  • Engage in basic currency conversion and cost analysis to support margin assessments and decision-making.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that advance customer service excellence and operational effectiveness.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in international logistics with a focus on air and ocean freight.
  • Proven experience in diverse operational areas including customer service, sales support, and pricing/quoting.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data handling and the use of pivot tables for basic analysis.
  • Sound understanding of freight rate structures, quotation processes, and the interpretation of rate sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems or logistics platforms that manage and streamline sales and operational data.
  • Strong grasp of currency conversion basics and cost analytical techniques.
  • Proficiency in English at an advanced level is mandatory, facilitating communication within global teams.
