Sales Support Supervisor Mexico

At CEVA A&O Mexico, S.A. de C.V., we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Support Supervisor to join our Business Development division based in Alcaldia Benito Juarez, Mexico. This role is pivotal in leading and coordinating the Sales Support US team, driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding service in international logistics focused on air and ocean freight.

About the Role

As the Sales Support Supervisor, you will take on a hands-on leadership role, managing day-to-day operations while actively supporting your team. Your expertise will be essential in supervising sales support processes, ensuring precise pricing and quotation evaluations, and streamlining coordination between origin and destination points. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-growing environment, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams as well as external intercompany contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a diverse Sales Support team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture in a multicultural setting.
  • Oversee pricing strategy and margin evaluation by analysing freight and local charges with advanced analytical techniques.
  • Manage rate sheet interpretation, detailed quotation processes, and ensure accuracy in negotiation and documentation.
  • Utilise CRM and logistics systems such as One View or equivalents to monitor sales support activities and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing quote conversion rates, reducing response times, and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Prioritise workload efficiently to meet business demands and support team growth and development.
  • Make informed decisions under pressure, owning end-to-end processes to ensure consistent delivery of customer service excellence.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in international logistics, particularly within air and ocean freight.
  • Proven leadership background, having held roles such as Team Leader or Supervisor in areas including Customer Service, Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Pricing.
  • Fluent in advanced English, essential for effective communication within our US and international teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of rate structures, freight pricing, and local charges to support accurate quoting and billing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and logistics software systems to enhance team productivity and customer engagement.
