As Cloud Lead Architect, you will play a pivotal role in CEVA Logistics’ Global IT Cloud organization, reporting directly to the Global IT Cloud Director. This hybrid role combines the expertise of Cloud technologies with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and GCP) with operational practices focused on the design of Cloud solutions at scale, and defining the main Cloud architecture principles.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT, Corporate Support Functions, Business Development, and Operations to drive the design, development and industrialization of Public Cloud platforms. Your work will ensure that Cloud platforms and applications are seamlessly integrated, scalable, and continuously optimized to provide ongoing value to CEVA Logistics and its customers. This position requires expertise not only in Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure as Code, but also in the processes that turn innovative solutions into robust, enterprise-grade systems with a business focus and product&platform approach.

You well be in charge of leading also the Cloud Design Authority for setting up the main Cloud architecture principles, blueprints, building blocks and toolsets for managing cloud.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• High experience as Cloud Architect, leading the definition of Cloud design principles and Cloud Platform architectures.

• High experience on Cloud Security.

• Proficiency in Cloud hyperscalers (GCP, Azure and AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform mainly) with experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud platforms and building blocks to quickly deploy business solutions on Cloud.

• Proficiency in industrializing Cloud building blocks, focusing on full-scale, production-ready Cloud solutions that are both scalable and sustainable.

• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps and Cloud PaaS services and technologies (such as Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) for automating the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Cloud platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-technical teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to deployment and operation.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years as Cloud & DevOps Architect with proven results.

• Educational Background :

o Degree in computer science, telecoms, Mathematics, automatic engineer, or a related field.

o Advanced certifications in Cloud hyperscalers, Terraform or Kubernetes are a plus.

 

Technical Expertise :

• DevOps: Hands-on experience implementing DevOps practices for cloud deployment, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform for automating Cloud pipelines.

• Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure for design, deploy, managing, and scaling Cloud platforms and Cloud Building Blocks.

 

Technical Leading :

o Proven ability to lead Cloud architecture teams and cloud platform engineers, acting as a technical mentor.

o Being able to be Cloud SME for new cloud services and trends within the main hyperscalers.

 

Collaboration & Communication :

o Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and operations, to translate business needs into technical solutions.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

 

Problem Solving & Innovation :

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset for leveraging Cloud technologies to solve business problems and drive innovation.

o Ability to stay up to date with the latest Cloud trends, and apply cutting-edge techniques to business challenges.

 

Soft Skills:

o Team leadership and mentoring.

o Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

o Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and reliability in all work.
