You will oversee the Investment and Contract Approval Process (ICAP) and transversal control areas, ensuring financial rigor, process excellence, and strategic alignment across our European operations. This role demands a pragmatic, detail-oriented professional who can drive improvements, provide technical guidance, and uphold the highest standards of financial governance.
What are you going to do?
- Lead ICAP for Europe, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all investment and contract approval processes.
- Perform quality control checks on all ICAP submissions, providing feedback, guidance, and scrutiny on business cases and financial models.
- Provide technical support to local teams, helping them navigate complex controlling procedures and data challenges.
- Deliver periodic training on ICAP processes to colleagues across the region, fostering a culture of financial excellence.
- Drive process improvements, managing suggestions and escalating insights to Global Headquarters (GHO) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage Regional Product ICAP Reviews, distributing actions and minutes to ensure accountability and follow-through.
- Oversee post-investment review data collection, ensuring quality control and actionable insights for future decision-making.
- Perform month-end Real Estate controlling tasks, supporting financial closing and reporting activities.
- Oversee capital investment approvals (circa $100m–$200m) and contract approvals (with annual gross revenue of $1b–$2b), safeguarding the company’s financial interests.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience of 4–5 years in Corporate or Operational Finance, with a strong background in controlling, financial analysis, and process improvement.
- Expertise in control procedures, data handling, commercial finance, contracting, and corporate governance—bringing a rigorous yet pragmatic approach to complex financial challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform in-depth reviews of financial models and business cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, regional leaders, and global stakeholders.
- Dynamic, positive, and creative mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive innovation in financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)—advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Fluency in English (required), with French as a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required); additional qualifications in controlling are beneficial.
Please write a cover letter stating why you feel you are the Business Controlling Expert who can elevate our ICAP processes, drive financial excellence, and contribute to the growth and profitability of CEVA Logistics in Europe.
