Transportation Technology Specialist (Apprenticeship)

About the Role

As a Transportation Technology Specialist Apprentice, you will contribute to innovation projects and support the implementation of new technologies across transportation and logistics operations. Working closely with business teams, IT teams, customers, carriers, and external partners, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and support projects from initial analysis through deployment.

This apprenticeship offers exposure to transportation technologies, project management, business analysis, and innovation within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand business needs and operational challenges.
  • Analyze current processes and assess potential impacts and improvement opportunities.
  • Research and evaluate internal and external technology solutions.
  • Support proof-of-concept initiatives and innovation projects.
  • Prepare recommendations and share findings with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Assist in project planning, coordination, and implementation.
  • Monitor project performance and support post-deployment reviews.
  • Maintain project documentation and innovation roadmaps.

Stakeholder Management

You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including business teams, IT departments, suppliers, carriers, and customers, depending on project requirements.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Innovation, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
  • Interest in innovation and emerging technologies within transportation and logistics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Driving license is a plus.

Additional Information

The role may require occasional travel to meet with business teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers, as well as visits to warehouses and distribution centers when needed.
