Join CEVA France SASU, a leader in logistics services across air and ocean divisions, as our Global Procurement Operational Excellence Senior Expert, based in CEVA France. This strategic role within the Procurement and Carrier Relations organisational unit offers a unique opportunity to impact the Ocean division at a global scale.

As a senior expert, you will lead initiatives to enhance procurement processes, drive operational excellence, and foster innovation within CEVA's comprehensive logistics procurement activities. Your leadership will contribute directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations, ensuring optimal carrier relationships and service delivery in our dynamic global logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement processes and standards globally to support the Ocean division's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, supply chain, finance, and carrier management to ensure procurement strategies align with business goals.
• Lead initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and promote sustainable procurement practices without compromising on service quality.
• Provide expert guidance on carrier relations, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management to maximise value and mitigate risks.
• Drive the adoption of digital tools and analytics to enhance procurement transparency, data-driven decision making, and operational metrics.
• Mentor and support procurement teams globally to elevate capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in senior procurement roles, ideally within logistics or supply chain environments with a focus on ocean freight.
• Strong expertise in procurement operational excellence, process optimisation, and supplier management.
• Demonstrable ability to lead complex projects and drive cross-functional collaboration at a global level.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in procurement-related technologies and data analytics tools.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
