Ceva Logistics Europe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Performance and Flows division as a Global Solution Design Senior Supervisor. This pivotal role is integral to the success of our finished vehicle logistics operations, where innovative solutions and effective management drive our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

About the Role:

As a Global Solution Design Senior Supervisor, you will lead and oversee the design and optimisation of logistics solutions on a global scale. Your expertise will be crucial in developing strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery across multiple markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, sales, and IT to ensure seamless integration and implementation of customised logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative logistics solutions tailored to finished vehicle transportation requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of solution designers, providing guidance and support to uphold high standards of performance and creativity.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of current logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimise flow and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners worldwide to ensure solutions align with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to deliver solutions on schedule without compromising quality.
  • Leverage data analytics to derive insights and inform decision-making processes related to logistics solutions and operational improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance solution design capabilities.
  • Support the development of training materials and facilitate knowledge sharing to empower teams across regions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in logistics solution design, with a strong emphasis on finished vehicle logistics or related sectors.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and motivating diverse teams in a dynamic, multinational environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities complemented by analytical thinking and strategic vision.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex stakeholder demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration across different cultures and disciplines.
  • A degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Proficient in relevant digital tools and software related to logistics planning and data analysis.
