Your role:
In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Real Estate, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance, as well as external partners (contractors, consultants, landlords, and technical advisors) to lead and deliver technical projects across your perimeter in France.
What are you going to do?
As a Technical Manager / Project Manager, you will:
- Define, structure, and formalize technical specifications and scopes of work (cahiers des charges) across multiple domains: maintenance (hard FM), energy optimization and sustainability, civil construction and infrastructure works, fit-out / second works
- Lead and coordinate tender processes in collaboration with Procurement (RFQs, bid analysis, contractor selection)
- Manage technical aspects of projects from design to delivery, including: feasibility studies, design review (architectural, engineering, MEP), permitting and compliance
- Act as project manager during execution phase: planning and scheduling, budget tracking and cost control, risk identification and mitigation, coordination of internal stakeholders and external contractors
- Oversee construction and renovation works on site, ensuring quality of execution, compliance with specifications and regulations, respect of timelines and budgets
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance programs (preventive & corrective) and ensure continuous improvement of technical performance
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability projects (energy savings, HVAC optimization, lighting, carbon reduction initiatives)
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
- Prepare and present technical files and investment proposals for internal approval committees
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices across the portfolio
Where will you be working?
- You will report directly to the French Real Estate Leader
- You will be based at our HQ “Emblem” in La Défense (Paris area)
- Frequent travel within France is expected depending on project locations
Who are we looking for ?
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (civil engineering, construction, energy, or similar)
- 5 to 10 years of experience in: technical project management, construction, engineering consultancy, or real estate environment, site supervision or works management
- Strong experience in: drafting technical specifications and managing tenders, multi-disciplinary project coordination, construction project lifecycle management
- Solid knowledge of: building systems (HVAC, electrical, structural), maintenance practices and facility management, energy efficiency and sustainability topics
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Capacity to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a matrix and international environment
- Fluent in French and English
