YOUR ROLE

Assist in the processing of Maritime Product files: analysis and development of Ocean documents

• Assist in the coordination of operations between the different stakeholders: customers, partners, customs and administrations

• Ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with the quotes established in advance

• Ensure that the data in CargoWise (WIPs & ACCRUALs) is entered on time and complies with the requested operations

• Assist in resolving problems with customers and/or partners

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Assist the Product Manager with daily tasks

o Receive transit orders sent by customers (rate already validated). In the event of a new business (existing or new client), a new quotation will be required

o Request missing documentation and more precise instructions from customers (if necessary)

o Inform the client of the progress of their files following agreement (daily, weekly, etc.)

o Alert management in the event of a problem (potential or proven)

o Control supplier invoices at the level of prices and scales applied.

o Issue the delivery note, organize the delivery and collect the return delivery document

o Organizes the pre-invoicing of services: control of WIPs and ACCRUALs

o Identify and communicate on any malfunction encountered during the execution of operations

o Assist or handle customer/supplier disputes

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Required skills

o Good mastery of the Ocean process

o Good knowledge of Logistics

o Good understanding of prices and scales applicable to goods

o Good knowledge of invoicing

o Be a good communicator

o Have a good relationship

 Typically require less than 1 year of experience in ocean services or operational area, intermediate roles typically require at least three years of experience and more senior roles typically require at least five years of experience and at least two years of experience at the intermediate level.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

Basic to more advanced general knowledge of ocean operations and services.

Basic analytical skills and good service orientation.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
