Pay range  $72,800 - $82,000

YOUR ROLE

Do you excel in leadership and operational oversight? Are you passionate about driving logistics excellence? If so, this role offers the opportunity to lead multiple departments, guide high‑performing teams, and ensure the seamless execution of transportation, and warehouse activities. You will help deliver exceptional customer service and maintain inbound  and inventory operations withing a luxury goods distribution cener. This role ensures inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service levels while protecting the integrity and value of high-end merchandise.

The Senior Supervisor serves as a key operational leader, partnering with Operations Managers, Quality, Customer Service, Transportation, Finance, and client representatives to deliver best-in-class supply chain performance. This position leads multiple supervisors and frontline teams while driving process improvements, developing talent, and maintaining a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all inbound receiving, put-away, inventory control, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory investigation activities.
  • Ensure timely processing of inbound shipments while meeting productivity and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain inventory integrity across all warehouse locations through disciplined inventory management practices.
  • Supervise multiple team leaders, supervisors, inventory analysts, and warehouse associates.
  • Balance labor resources to support changing operational priorities and seasonal business fluctuations.
  • Coordinate daily operational priorities with outbound, transportation, planning, customer service, and quality teams.
  • Adress inventory discrepancies and assist in creating action plans to minimize shrink and accuracy inacuracies along with supervisors.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain world-class inventory accuracy through:
    • Cycle Count Programs
    • Annual Physical Inventories
    • Location Audits
    • Inventory Reconciliations
    • Root Cause Analysis
  • Lead investigations for inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, damages, and quality issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce inventory adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory health and aging reports while ensuring inventory is stored according to client and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate system transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Inbound Operations

  • Manage receiving schedules and dock utilization.
  • Ensure ASN accuracy and timely receipt processing.
  • Verify compliance with vendor routing and client receiving requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections for luxury merchandise to ensure product quality and packaging standards.
  • Minimize receiving delays while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as an operational point of contact for assigned luxury brand clients.
  • Participate in client meetings, business reviews, audits, and operational performance discussions.
  • Provide inventory analysis, operational updates, and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain exceptional service levels consistent with luxury brand expectations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities using Lean methodologies and data analysis.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives.
  • Reduce operational waste while improving quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive automation and technology adoption where applicable.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and hourly associates.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and career development planning.
  • Build succession plans for key operational positions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives that improve retention and morale.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through audits, observations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance with client-specific security requirements for luxury products.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Financial Responsibility

  • Monitor labor productivity and staffing levels.
  • Support annual operating budget development.
  • Control overtime and indirect labor expenses.
  • Minimize inventory-related financial losses through accurate inventory controls.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining premium service levels.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent operational leadership experience considered.

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
  • Minimum 3 years managing inventory control and inbound operations.
  • Experience within luxury goods, retail, fashion, cosmetics, jewelry, or high-value product environments preferred.
  • Experience leading multiple supervisors and large hourly teams.
  • Experience with client-facing operations preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work within a warehouse environment.
