BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL – FIELD SALES

 

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Field Sales Professional to join our Business Development team at CEVA Interfreight Tanzania Limited in Dar es Salaam. As a Field Sales Professional, you will be responsible for driving sales in Tanzania, developing strong customer relationships, and meeting sales targets.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company.
  • Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts
  • Evaluate job profitability.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimun five years related experience in sales required; Outside Business (B2B) Sales experience with demonstrated history with a proven track record of achieving sales targets

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Power Point), internet, web-based and job specific software applications. 
  • Ability to generate complex, error-free charts, graphs, spreadsheets and presentations. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Characteristics:

  • Self-motivated,Able to achieve results by working independently with little or no supervision.
  • Sense of urgency and follow-up
  • Strongly developed persuasive skills, proven negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues
  • Positive, competitive, confident sales approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results
  • Must be trustworthy and honest
  • Must have high integrity and respect for the code of ethics
