YOUR ROLE

 

Our operation based in Daventry is looking for a WMS Superuser to join our team where you will act as the guardian of system integrity, supporting operational teams, driving system improvements, and leading WMS-related projects across the site. This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys working with systems, data, and people to improve warehouse performance and processes.

 

This is a Monday to Friday role with shifts from 06:00–14:00 or 10:00–18:00, with occasional weekend work required during peak periods.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Stock & System Manager, you will:

 

  • Develop, update, and maintain WMS systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, working closely with IT and operational teams to minimise disruption.
  • Analyse reconciliation reports and operational data to identify root causes and propose practical solutions.
  • Lead WMS implementation and development projects from planning through to execution.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, UAT, and validation of new developments in line with live operations.
  • Support and train WMS users, acting as a key point of contact for system-related queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise capacity, productivity, and process efficiency.
  • Provide regular project updates and insights to management.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience working with Warehouse Management Systems in a logistics or warehouse environment, with experience in Manhattan WMS highly desirable. You will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, support system configuration, testing, and contribute to system implementation and improvement projects. A good understanding of warehouse processes and operational KPIs will help you succeed in this role, alongside a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.

In this role, you will work closely with operational teams, IT, and key stakeholders across the business, helping to shape and improve systems and processes. You will be confident communicating technical topics clearly, take ownership of challenges, and drive continuous improvements.
