YOUR ROLE
Our operation based in East Midlands Gateway, Derby, have an exciting opportunity for a highly focused and proactive HSEQ and Facilities Coordinator to join the team. Supporting our high-profile customer contract, you will be responsible for all aspects of premises and building services across the site in order to excel operational excellence.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the HSEQ and Facilities Manager, you will support all premises and HSEQ compliance activities, including fire, intruder and sprinkler testing, emergency lighting checks, inspections, audits, and accident investigations, ensuring accurate record keeping at all times.
You will assist with facilities and site projects such as office moves, building works, and the coordination of external contractors, including permit to work, site inductions, RAMS reviews, and maintaining the PPM schedule. You will provide administrative and budget support by raising purchase orders, receipting and filing documentation, logging data, and supporting budget control for facilities-related spend.
You will act as the main administrative point of contact for the contract, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within a facility management-based role and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of contract management and negotiations. It is essential that you are able to work collectively within in a team but also thrive when working unaccompanied. Excellent communication is a crucial element within this role, where you will be practiced in building strong working relationships with stakeholders that will ensure the smooth running of the operation. A good understanding of MS packages, such as Outlook and Excel, is also a requirement.
