YOUR ROLE

As the regional Business Process Excellence (BPE) Engineer for assigned stations, you will lead Operational Excellence programs across multiple locations within the region. Support the operational, financial, and service performance of the CEVA Ground Network by identifying operational inefficiencies, supporting the development and standardization of processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive sustainable performance results. Drive standardization, capability development, performance improvement, and certification efforts through Lean, Kaizen, PDCA, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Partner with station leadership teams to support data-driven decision making, structured problem solving, and the adoption of best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Serve as the station's Business Process Excellence Engineering lead, supporting the deployment, governance, and sustainment of Operational Excellence programs and standards.
  • Analyze operational processes, workflows, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable business results.
  • Apply Lean Engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies to improve flow, reduce waste, optimize resources, and enhance operational performance.
  • Lead Kaizen events, PDCA cycles, root cause investigations, and structured problem-solving initiatives to address operational challenges and improve process stability.
  • Design, implement, and sustain process improvements that improve service quality, productivity, cost performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Lead continuous improvement and business transformation projects from opportunity identification through implementation and benefit realization.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, operating procedures, and visual management systems while ensuring compliance with regional and global standards.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve KPI frameworks and management routines to support operational decision-making and performance accountability.
  • Facilitate process mapping, value stream analysis, capacity assessments, cycle time measurement, flow analysis and operational diagnostics to identify constraints and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and report improvement pipelines, project status, realized benefits, and Operational Excellence metrics through the Ground Kaizen Program and other BPE management systems.
  • Deliver coaching, mentoring, and training on Lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, operational excellence tools, and process management practices.
  • Lead and coordinate the station's audit and progression through the Ground Transport Classification Assessment and other Operational Excellence certification programs.
  • Partner with Country, Regional, Operations, IT, Quality, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support the deployment of standardized processes, digital tools, and transformation initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Formal training and/or practical experience in Lean, Business Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Process Engineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Process Excellence, Operational Excellence, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Transportation Operations, or Logistics environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement, transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing improvement portfolios, Kaizen programs, Lean deployments, and operational performance initiatives.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and operational sites.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including PDCA, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, Standard Work, Visual Management, AutoCAD design and Six Sigma.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, freight management, logistics, and/or contract logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of process engineering, process design, workflow optimization, productivity improvement, and performance management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate operational data into actionable improvements.
  • Ability to lead change, influence operational teams, and drive sustainable adoption of new processes and standards.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in KPI development, process performance analysis, and continuous improvement project management.

Annual Salary Range: $86,942-$100,000
