The Head of Sales Senior Manager - UAE is responsible for leading and developing the sales strategy and operations within the UAE market. This role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets, expanding market share, and strengthening key customer relationships in line with the company’s regional and global objectives.
To lead, direct, manage, and motivate the team to achieve maximum sales, based on the growth strategy of CEVA Logistics within UAE. The Head of Sales Senior Manager will work within the BD department to design and implement the sales strategy to be approved by senior management, ensuring the approach is effective and consistent with corporate guidelines.
Sales Strategy & Planning
1 Develop and implement the annual sales plan for the UAE, aligned with regional and global strategies.
2 Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
3 Set country sales targets (revenue, margin, volume, product mix) and manage performance against these targets
Business Development & Key Accounts
1 Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the UAE.
2 Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
3 Lead negotiations of major contracts and pricing agreements in line with company policies
Team Leadership & Management
1 Lead, coach, and develop the UAE sales team to achieve high performance and accountability.
2 Set clear objectives and KPIs for sales staff and conduct regular performance reviews
3 Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales team members.
4 Manage the development of the staff in line with their training needs analysis and career path and provides advice regarding career growth.
5 Prepare and recommend the budgets to include manpower and monitors performance versus the budget.
6 Ensure that team briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is safety risk exposure, role model safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions.
7 Ethics & Compliance is at the heart of our business, ensure full adherence to the company Business Rules, E-learning and Trainings
Operational & Commercial Management
1 Monitor sales pipeline, forecasts, and budgets; provide regular, accurate reporting to regional leadership.
2 Ensure correct implementation of business through understanding the requirement of the client, translate it into S.M.A.R.T SOP & CSOP and ensure alignment with stakeholders, including but not limited to pricing, discount, and credit terms policies in the UAE market.
3 Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities
4 Identify and manage or escalate problem areas within the operations towards amicable and fast resolutions to mitigate customer satisfaction & company’s interest
5 Communicate and work closely with CEVA Network/community to exchange leads, stay updated of other countries/regions capabilities, build trade lanes commitment and push/pull sales development
6 Implement robust service recovery measures to handle customer complaints and service recovery initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Brand Positioning
1 Participate to relevant exhibition and networking events to promote company’s profile and expertise.
2 Keep update of the market trends.
3 Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities
4 Update, maintain and create relevant marketing library/material to enable sales team to promote the company’s expertise.
Compliance & Governance
1 Ensure all sales activities comply with local laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
2 Manage customer contracts and documentation in line with internal governance requirements.
3 Uphold health, safety, and quality standards in all business operations
