Job purpose:
The Super User plays a critical role within the WMS Centre of Excellence (CoE), ensuring the successful delivery and support of WMS solutions across CEVA’s operational landscape. This role is pivotal in enabling the CoE to provide cost-effective, scalable, and high-performing warehouse management systems that support both new business bids and ongoing frontline operations.
The Super User leads and contributes to project activities including solution testing, implementation, and post-deployment support, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Success in this role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, operational insight, and hands-on implementation experience to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Super User will work closely with warehouse operation team, ZDS team, BPE team, IT team and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provides functional/operational support and feedback on questions from the users regarding WMS.
- Provides functional/operational feedback on assessments from customer engagement regarding WMS product description.
- Provides on-site presence for implementations of WMS products as appropriate, especially when sites implement the product for the first time.
- Support projects and is capable to consult on set-up of WMS (Clustering, putaway rules, pack configuration, routing, zoning, data loads)
- Provides support in the cluster on Tests and UAT with product releases or patches. Is capable to conduct system testing, to professional quality standards, for WMS Products.
- Maintain appropriate working relationships with all customers/key users within the cluster as part of the day to day execution of tasks.
- Provide logistics and systems consultancy for operations teams in relation to appropriate system use and operational responsibility and capabilities.
- Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations and define corrective actions with WMS CoE.
- Evaluates, follows up and coordinates possible change request or product enhancements within the cluster.
- Provides training for engineers and Key-users within the cluster.
- Provides feedback in general to the WMS CoE on progress, best practices and daily business updates related to WMS products
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations and practical operational experience in logistics with WMS systems
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability of comprehensive operational knowledge of WMS systems used within CEVA Logistics.
- Understands and able to explain EDI’s and meaning of it.
- Proven in- depth business knowledge of the CEVA way of working.
- Proven competence of supporting and leading software testing processes.
- Proven ability to communicate within own organization and with external customers.
- Able to host and facilitate warehouse visits for potential new customers in-external and able to explain WMS processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally
