YOUR ROLE

We’re seeking Electromechanical Tooling Specialists to join a new dedicated Contract Logistics operation in Dubbo supporting the renewable energy sector.

This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and preparation of specialised tooling and equipment used to support wind turbine field operations. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment while also maintaining accurate asset, maintenance and inventory records.

You don’t need previous wind industry experience. We’re interested in people from industrial maintenance, mechanical fitting, electrical maintenance, field service, workshops and other practical technical environments who can bring strong fault-finding skills and a willingness to learn specialised tooling.

As part of the mobilisation of this new operation, successful candidates will be required to undertake customer-specific technical training in Newcastle during November and December 2026, ahead of commencing permanently in Dubbo. The training will cover specialised tooling, inspection, maintenance, repair, calibration and associated operating procedures, with approved travel and accommodation costs covered by CEVA.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Inspect specialised tooling and equipment for wear, damage and defects
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, minor repairs and component replacement
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
  • Coordinate calibration, safety testing, maintenance and certification activities
  • Prepare tooling for field deployment, including verification, packing and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate asset, service, calibration and maintenance records
  • Safely handle and move tooling and bulky equipment using approved equipment
  • Support tooling requests, inventory activities and other warehouse operations

The role covers the complete tooling lifecycle from receipt and storage through inspection, servicing, preparation and dispatch, including traceability of equipment condition, availability and certification status.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’ll bring hands-on experience from an electromechanical, industrial maintenance, workshop, field service, technical services or similarly practical technical environment.

You will also have:

  • Practical experience maintaining or repairing mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic equipment
  • A relevant trade, vocational or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and practical problem-solving capability
  • Confidence following technical drawings, manuals and maintenance procedures
  • Good systems capability and attention to maintenance, asset and inventory records.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.

  • Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
