Prepare and process import and export customs declarations in accordance with customer instructions, company procedures and current regulations. This will include reviewing commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills and other supporting customs documentation to ensure information is complete and correct.

You will maintain accurate shipment and customs data across relevant systems, monitor shipments throughout the customs clearance process and proactively resolve any delays, documentation issues or clearance queries. You will also liaise with customers, carriers, internal CEVA teams, HMRC and other customs authorities where required.

As part of the role, you will calculate or verify customs duties, VAT and other applicable charges, as well as support with customs amendments and post-clearance corrections. You will maintain accurate customs records, ensure documentation is correctly filed and archived, and support compliance audits where required. You will build strong professional relationships with customers, support ongoing regulatory compliance and service delivery, and stay up to date with HMRC and other statutory requirements. You will also work towards agreed customer service, accuracy and customs clearance targets.
