Warehouse Maintenance Technician (Days) - Fontana, CA

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00

Day Shifts: Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. 

 

YOUR ROLE

Performs basic maintenance tasks and supports preventative maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable facility and equipment operation. Works under guidance for more complex repairs.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment (conveyors, dock doors, lighting, basic MHE)
  • Maintain interior and exterior of building, grounds and structure to ensure everything in, and around the facility is operable and in compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with vendors
  • Deliver packages or cartons, including office supplies, brochures and other materials to various departments in the building
  • Complete assigned work orders through CMMS with supervision as needed
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and perform basic repairs
  • Support upkeep of building systems (lighting, minor plumbing, basic electrical)
  • Conduct general inspections and report equipment issues, damage, or safety risks
  • Assist with internal employee workstation or office moves
  • Maintain housekeeping of maintenance areas and tools
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs, equipment upgrades, and project work
  • Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, PPE, and OSHA requirements
  • Perform routine daily inspection of the warehouse. Keep office and dock area(s) stocked with supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Works under direction for troubleshooting
  • Escalates complex mechanical, electrical, or control system issues
  • Limited independent decision-making

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

skills:

 

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Willingness to learn conveyor systems and warehouse equipment
  • CMMS exposure preferred but not required
  • Computer literate. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or other software applicable to warehouse and dock operations’ duties
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors
  • Good interpersonal and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

 

Minimum:

 

  • High School degree or GED.
  • Demonstrated experience in facility and grounds maintenance and upkeep.
  • Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures utilized in areas of specialty (minor plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine services).
  • Skilled in performing forklift preventive maintenance.

 

Preferred:

 

  • 0–3 years in maintenance, warehouse, or industrial environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; exposure to electrical systems preferred.
