POWERED INDUSTRIAL LIFT OPERATOR

YOUR ROLE
Are you an experienced powered industrial lift operator with a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and warehouse efficiency? Do you take pride in operating equipment responsibly while supporting inbound, outbound, storage, and inventory movement? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to use your equipment experience to move product safely, support warehouse flow, and contribute to delivering results in a clean, organized, and efficient logistics operation.

SUMMARY:

Safely operate powered industrial lift equipment to move, load, unload, stage, stack, and store materials in a warehouse environment. Performs equipment inspections, follows established safety procedures, and models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Operate powered industrial lift equipment to move materials and items from receiving, production, storage, staging, or shipping areas to designated locations.
• Receive, store, replenish, pick, stage, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the assigned area using approved equipment and procedures.
• May sweep floors, clean dock area, general good hygiene of entire work area.
• Assemble, pick, transport, and stage customer orders from stock using appropriate equipment; place product on pallets, racks, shelves, or designated shipping locations.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Complete pre-use inspections of powered industrial lift equipment and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns immediately.
• Sort, stack, replenish, and place materials or items on racks, shelves, trailers, or in bins according to predetermined location, sequence, size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Operate equipment in accordance with company safety standards, site procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements; maintain control of loads, observe speed limits, and follow pedestrian right-of-way expectations.

• Verify product counts, locations, labels, and documentation as needed to support inventory accuracy and order quality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior powered industrial lift operating experience required, including demonstrated safe operation in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Ability to safely operate required equipment, complete pre-use inspections, and follow all site safety procedures and traffic standards.

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds when required.
• Must have good or corrected vision. 
• Ability to add and subtract.
• Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. 
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
• Consistently at work and on time.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of powered industrial lift operating experience required; warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
• Skills: Experienced in the safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment; Ability to complete equipment inspections, follow warehouse traffic and safety procedures, maintain product and inventory accuracy, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds when required, climb ladders when required, maintain good or corrected vision, and perform basic math.
• Characteristics: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
