Key Accountabilities

Local control business development
1    Drive vertical customers’ development plan to grow revenues and Profitability.
2    Define target accounts jointly with overseas counterpart and oversea networks/ regions and product/ commodities to focus on and deploy strategy accordingly.
3    Increase company's market share on the target routes.
4    Benchmark company rates with market competitors (sea freight, air freight, sea-air etc.).
5    Conduct regular route development review with local BMs and regional management.
6    Co-ordinate the response and resolution to customer claims & complaints.
7    Plan for corrective and preventive action to seek the continuous enhanced service quality.
8    Identify and develop effective relationships with target customer’s organizations, to ensure maximum leverage for company’s interests.
9    Build Customer confidence in company’s ability to respond to their current anticipated needs, by developing in-depth understanding of customers’ problems and influencing company’s strategy accordingly.

Reporting
1   Usage of Concerto-Usage of concerto (sales lead, visit, quotation).
2   Weekly Report-Ensure reports detailing the outcome of previous week’s activities is submitted to SCN Sales GM
3   Monthly Report-Liaise / Report to Local Management on activities.

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or education in related field.
Experience in Freight forwarding.
Knowledge of Logistic and Supply Chain management.
Sales related knowledge & experience 
Customer service orientation. Businessperson orientation
Numeracy, written and oral communication skills
Fluent English
